British Figure Skating Championships 2025: Qualification Update

British Ice Skating acknowledges that there has been some confusion regarding which scores would count towards qualification this season.
Following the transfer of skaters from the Qualifier to the Robin Cousins Cup — a decision made at the request of British Ice Skating rather than by individual skaters — it was always intended that the latter event would count towards qualification. However, we acknowledge that this was not communicated clearly enough to all those who may have been affected.
Therefore, we will be offering an additional two spaces in Junior Women and one space in Senior Women in the interests of fairness. We will not draw from the waiting list in these categories until the numbers return to the originally published capacity.
We sincerely apologise for any misunderstanding or concern this may have caused and appreciate your patience and understanding as we continue to improve communication moving forward.
A revised list of qualified skaters for the championships is now available here.
