British Ice Skating Board Vacancy

Independent Non-Executive Director: Legal

The British Ice Skating Board is made up of elected members from the sport of Ice Skating and appointed individuals to provide support in the areas of finance, legal and commercial.

Technical Advisory Committee Vacancies

Our Technical Advisory Committees (TACs) are a crucial part of how BIS operates. They provide support to our Board and senior leadership, allowing us to benefit from the broad range of experiences - and significant amount of expertise - they hold in their respective areas. Members of our TACs are volunteers who play a key role in our decision-making and future-planning.

Figure Skating Coach

Ice Sports Southland - New Zealand

Are you looking for a new opportunity? We are a small club in the South of New Zealand, looking for a coach for the 2024 season and beyond! Ice Sports Southland are seeking a Figure Skating coach for approx 30 hours per week (negotiable) for the 2024 competition season (and beyond for the right applicant!). We require someone who is enthusiastic, motivating, and willing to promote and grow the sport of Figure Skating in the Southland region.

 

This position is based in Gore, which is a 2 hour drive from Queenstown. We have the luxury of being a club-owned rink, meaning that we have plenty of flexible ice time hours available. We require a head coach who is able to lead our Kiwiskate programme, coach our development groups, school groups, off ice, as well as coaching private lessons. We have several beginner-level skaters who would love to start competing, but need a coach to get them there!

Ice Skating Coach

Streatham Ice & Leisure Centre - Lambeth Council

Streatham Ice and Leisure Centre are looking for new coaches who can:

  • Deliver excellent programmes with knowledge of practices, progression and teaching points and how these should be applied

  • Work closely with the staffing team, ensuring programs promoted are relevant to clients needs and delivered effectively.

  • Manage in conjunction with the Ice Rink and centre Managers, the skating programmes and staff.

  • Liaise with management team to ensure programmes meet with customer expectations and NISA guidelines.

  • Create lesson plans and monitoring systems.
