SCOTTISH ICE SKATING DEVELOPMENT OFFICER
PERMANENT | PART-TIME
This Development Officer role will lead the delivery of British Ice Skating’s grassroots strategy in Scotland, working with clubs, rinks, and partners to grow participation, strengthen pathways, and raise the profile of the sport. The role will focus on increasing membership and Learn to Skate participation, developing Scottish events, supporting schools and temporary rink engagement, and building strong relationships with rinks and communities.
This post, supported by Sport Scotland, will contribute directly to British Ice Skating’s strategic vision by creating inclusive opportunities, enhancing local impact, and supporting the development of ice skating across Scotland.

Coaching Opportunities | The Rec Rink
Minimum Level 1 Coaching Qualification Required
Fixed Term: 29th November - 21st December 2025
The Rec Rink Ltd is looking for a newly qualified Level 1 Skate UK Coach or Level 2 Coach or Coaches to teach Skate UK group lessons and 1:1 lessons at our large & beautiful seasonal rink at The South of England Showground in West Sussex.
We plan to run lessons on Saturday and Sunday mornings from Saturday 29th November until Sunday 21st December at 9am.
Your own transport is essential and there is plenty of free parking on site.
Competitive pay based on your experience.

Coaching Opportunities | Doncaster Dome
Level 1 or 2 Coaching Qualification Required
Doncaster Dome are looking for passionate, enthusiastic and well organised ice skating instructors to deliver their new learn to skate programmes (Skate UK levels 1 -8 and Skate Star Pathways).
