Day 10 delivers a perfect contrast on Olympic ice: the pure adrenaline of short track’s fastest distance, followed by the full-scale theatre of the Pairs Free Skate. Great Britain has two big moments to look forward to at Milano Cortina 2026, with Niall Treacy and pairs team Anastasia Vaipan-Law and Luke Digby back in action.
All times below are UK time.
10:20am — Short Track Speed Skating: Men’s 500m Heats (Niall Treacy)
The 500m is short track at its most explosive. There’s no time to settle into a rhythm — it’s all about reaction speed, acceleration, positioning and split-second decision making in a race where margins are measured in hundredths.
Niall Treacy takes to the ice for the opening event of the day, aiming to put down a sharp, committed race from the start and bring his speed into the tight, high-pressure environment that makes the 500m such a fan favourite.

7:00pm — Figure Skating: Pairs Free Skate (Anastasia Vaipan-Law and Luke Digby)
The Pairs Free Skate is the final and defining skate of the competition — where teams bring their biggest elements, their strongest connection, and their full performance to the Olympic stage. It’s a test of technical quality and composure, but also of stamina, trust and timing from the first move to the final pose.
Anastasia Vaipan-Law and Luke Digby will close out the day for Team GB in what promises to be a powerful evening session, as they look to deliver their best when it matters most.
