Meet the class of 2026
British Ice Skating is proudly representing a major slice of Team GB at Milano Cortina 2026 - 10 of the 53 selected athletes, which is around 19% of the entire squad. Headlined by an eight-strong figure skating team - Great Britain’s biggest Olympic figure skating delegation since Calgary 1988 - the class of 2026 also features returning Olympians in short track and long track, bringing experience, momentum, and serious excitement across three disciplines.
Every one of these athletes has earned their place through incredible work, talent and determination - and they’re all ready to show exactly why they belong on the biggest stage in sport.

British Ice Skating is thrilled to be working with Planet Ice to bring Inspire To Skate to life during the countdown to the Winter Olympics 2026.
You’re invited to visit any of Planet Ice’s 14 rinks for an exclusive Learn to Skate taster session, led by their experienced coaching team - the perfect first step if the Games have inspired you to give skating a try.
Intro taster sessions are £10 and run until 12 March.
Get Set For Milan
British Ice Skating is proud to support Get Set for Milan - Team GB and ParalympicsGB’s official activity programme for Milano Cortina 2026.
It’s a fun, team-based challenge that gets young people moving by logging activity minutes and travelling virtually across the Milano Cortina map, with free resources for schools, families and communities. Whether it’s a quick movement burst in the classroom or getting active at home, every minute counts on the journey to the Games.
