Eleven British skaters selected for the 2026/27 ISU Junior Grand Prix Season

British Ice Skating is delighted to confirm Great Britain's selections for the 2026/27 ISU Junior Grand Prix of Figure Skating — the sport's leading international series for junior skaters and a key step on the pathway towards the senior ranks. Eleven skaters have been selected across ice dance and singles, taking in stops in Latvia, Thailand, Turkey, Georgia and Poland this autumn.

Ice Dance

Three British ice dance teams have each been handed a Junior Grand Prix start:

• Annabel Mann & Jack Hammond — JGP Riga, Latvia: 26–29 August 2026

• Ashlie Slatter & Louis Gregory — JGP Bangkok, Thailand: 2–5 September 2026

• Mimi Marler-Davies & Joseph Black — JGP Ankara, Turkey: 16–19 September 2026

  
  

It's an exciting series of debuts and opportunities for a promising group of British couples, who will test themselves against the best young ice dancers in the world.

Singles

Five British singles skaters have been selected, with three earning two starts apiece:

• Lloyd Thomson — JGP Bangkok (2–5 September) and JGP Ankara (16–19 September)

• Edward Solovyov — JGP Batumi, Georgia (23–26 September) and JGP Gdańsk, Poland (7–10 October)

• Arina Vorobeva — JGP Ankara (16–19 September)

• Alice Smith — JGP Batumi (23–26 September) and JGP Gdańsk (7–10 October)

• Mia Craig — JGP Bangkok (2–5 September)

  
  

Two assignments give Lloyd, Edward and Alice the chance to build results across the series, while Arina and Mia will be looking to make the most of their opportunities on the international stage.

British Ice Skating also confirms the following reserve skaters for all Junior Grand Prix events:

About the Junior Grand Prix series

The ISU Junior Grand Prix of Figure Skating is the sport's flagship junior series, made up of invitational events staged around the world each autumn. Skaters earn places on the strength of their results, competing across singles, pairs and ice dance. The leading skaters from the series go on to qualify for the ISU Junior Grand Prix Final, which brings the season's best juniors together - this year in Chongqing, China, in December.
