Edward Appleby closed out Team GB’s Figure Skating Team Event campaign at the Milano Cortina 2026 Olympic Winter Games with a season’s best 69.68 in the Men’s Short Program, as Great Britain secured a ninth-place finish overall in the qualification standings.

The Figure Skating Team Event at Milano Cortina continues on Day 1, Saturday 7 February 2026, with the men’s segment taking centre stage — and Edward Appleby set to represent Team GB in the Men’s Short Program as the Team Event qualification stage is completed.

Team GB’s figure skating campaign at the Milano Cortina 2026 Olympic Winter Games is up and running, with British Ice Skating athletes competing across ice dance, pairs and women’s singles in the opening day of the Figure Skating Team Event, including an incredible season's best from Fear and Gibson.
