British Ice Skating is proud to celebrate a landmark moment for the sport, as Olympic ice dancer Lilah Fear has been selected as one of Team GB’s flagbearers for the Opening Ceremony of the Milano Cortina 2026 Olympic Winter Games, taking place Friday 6 February.

The next generation of short track stars will take centre stage at the ISU Short Track Junior World Championships 2026, with Team GBR heading to Salt Lake City, USA from Thursday 29 January to Sunday 1 February. The event brings together the world’s best junior athletes for four days of fast, tactical racing — with world titles on the line across the sprint, middle distance, and relay events.
