Ice Skating Awarded Major Funding Boost
Junior skaters selected for Estonian ISU Grand Prix

National Ice Skating Association (NISA) has selected a promising young team of skaters to compete at the event, which will take place in Tallinn from 24-28 September.

The squad will compete at the Tallinn Arena, a brand new 6,000 seat venue which houses two ice rinks, against some of the world’s best young skaters in the Junior Ladies, Junior Men’s and Ice Dance Categories.

Fourteen-year-old Danielle Harrison, who trains in Dundee, will compete in the Junior Ladies competition.

She will be joined by Hugh Brabyn-Jones, aged 17 from Canada, who will compete in the Junior Men’s category.
Also selected are Lilah Fear, 15, and her partner Jacob Payne, 17, who won the 2013 British Novice Ice Dance Championships and won gold in the Junior Dance category at the recent International Judging System (IJS) Championships at iceSheffield.
