Team Icicles Senior head to World Synchro Championships

The World Synchronized Skating Championships are back after a two year pandemic enforced break and Team Icicles Senior will be flying the flag for Great Britain at the highlight of the Synchro calendar.


The Nottingham based club will be one of 23 teams from 16 countries skating in Hamilton, Canada, hoping to be crowned World Champions.

The Short Program will be skated on Friday 8th April, and consist of six required elements. The routine, capped at 2 minutes 50 seconds, has to include Intersection Element, Move Element, No Hold Element, Pivoting Element – Block, Traveling Element - Circle.


Saturday’s Free Skate contains nine elements and has to last between 3minutes 50 seconds and 4 minutes 10 seconds.
