British Contingent Heads to Nebelhorn Trophy

Over in Oberstdorf, a team of British skaters is set to compete at the 2025 Nebelhorn Trophy - a standout event on the autumn calendar, renowned for its competitive field and energetic atmosphere.

Fresh from their win at the inaugural Bolero Cup earlier this year, Lilah Fear and Lewis Gibson continue their Olympic season with another outing in the Ice Dance field. Strong favourites due to their dynamic style, technical excellence and crowd-pleasing presence, they’ll be looking to further polish their rhythm and free dances as the Olympic cycle heats up.

Anastasia Vaipan-Law and Luke Digby make their season debut in Oberstdorf following a standout 2024–25 campaign, which included the highest placement by a British Pairs team at the European Championships in over 30 years. After making waves last season with their strength, unity, and ambitious choreography, they return to the international stage looking to build on that momentum and set the tone for what promises to be another landmark year.

Rounding out the team, both Ken and Lucas Fitterer will take to the ice in the Men’s Singles event, representing Great Britain in a strong international field. Both skaters bring athleticism and flair to their performances, and will be aiming to deliver confident skates and make their mark on the Challenger Series stage.

Beyond the athletes, British Ice Skating is also thrilled to have British representation in the officials' team at Nebelhorn Trophy. Sundeep Pandya will serve as a Judge, while Candice Towler-Green will be part of the Technical Panel as a Technical Specialist - further showcasing British expertise on the international stage.
