Recruiting Data Replay Operators: Apply Now!

Have you ever thought about being a figure skating Data Replay Operator?

The Data Replay Operators (DRO) support the Technical Controller and Technical Specialists at competitions by video cutting and inputting the called elements via an instantaneous slow-motion video replay system.  You’ll need to be comfortable working under pressure and as part of a team; an active knowledge of Figure Skating is advantageous, but not a prerequisite.

Who Can Become a Data Replay Operator (DRO)?

Any British Ice Skating member 18 or older.

You might be an ex-competitor looking to stay involved in the sport you love, or a parent of a skater who’s seen the ins and outs of more competitions than you can count – whoever you are, this could be the next step in your ice skating journey.

How Do I Apply? 

 

To apply to be a new Data Replay Operator, you just need to complete our online application form (if you’re interested in other Official roles you can highlight these at the same time!)

What Happens Next? 

Your application form will be reviewed to assess your suitability for joining our training programme. We’ll then be in touch with further information about training, exams and next steps.
