British Ice Skating appoints Shaun Lough as Corporate Services Director

British Ice Skating is delighted to announce the appointment of Shaun Lough as its new Corporate Services Director, with Shaun due to join the organisation in October 2026.

Shaun brings more than 20 years’ experience across the sport, leisure and ice sports sectors, with a strong track record in financial leadership, governance, strategic planning and organisational development. He joins British Ice Skating from Everyone Active, where he has held senior leadership roles with responsibility for financial performance, operational delivery and governance within a multi-site leisure operation. Alongside his professional career, Shaun has made a significant contribution to the ice sports sector, most recently serving as Chair of the Ice Rink Managers Association. Working closely with national governing bodies, facility operators, local authorities and industry partners, he has helped strengthen collaboration across the sector while supporting the sustainable development of ice sport across the UK.

Shaun’s commercial expertise, strategic mindset and deep understanding of the ice sports landscape make him a valuable addition to the British Ice Skating senior leadership team. His experience of bringing people together to achieve shared goals, building strong relationships, and delivering organisational improvement will help support the next phase of the British Ice Skating's development.  On his appointment, Shaun Lough said:
