Solo Dance Championships and Ice Dance Couples Event - all you need to know

The Solo Dance Championships and Ice Dance Couples Event get underway on Monday 4th July at the Bauer Arena, iceSheffield. Whether you are travelling to Sheffield to skate, watch or will be following results online here is everything you need to know.


Ice Dance Couples Event

The four-day competition will be opened by the Ice Dance Couples event on Monday, with four categories set to compete. Six couples will skate in the Beginner category, with one couple in each of the Intermediate Novice, Advanced Novice and Junior categories.

Solo Dance Championships

The Solo Dance Championships will take place over three days from Tuesday 5th to Thursday 7th. Categories run from Beginner through to Senior, with over 100 skaters set to take to the ice.

The Free Dance order will be a reversal of the final standings after the Pattern or Rhythm Dance, with the leader after the Pattern or Rhythm Dance skating last to skate in the Free Dance.


Spectators

Spectators who have bought tickets do not need to bring a physical ticket or confirmation, you will just need to check-in at the BIS accreditation desk on arrival.
