The four-times British Ice Dance Champions are sure to be a fan favourites when they skate in Beijing. Their energetic and entertaining routines are always a highlight of any competition.
The partnerships began back in 2016 when they entered their first international competition that season. They have since gone on to win two Grand Prix bronze medals and finished the 2021 World Championships in seventh place. The duo now live in Canada and train at the Ice Dance Academy of Montreal, but began their career together in London.
Lilah has skated since she was just five-years-old, whereas Lewis started on ice slightly later.
The 27-year-old's main passion was football before he watched the first season of ITV's Dancing on Ice with Torvill and Dean. He said he "sat in front of the TV and just thought it looked like fun". Born in Prestwick, he originally began his skating career in singles before switching to Ice Dance.
For their Olympic debut they are dancing to a Kiss medley for their rhythm dance before a free dance to songs from The Lion King. Commenting on his selection Lewis said: “I can’t wait for the moment when we get to skate in Beijing with the Olympic Rings beneath our feet.” Something that many fans across the world will agree with.
