Ice Dance and Pairs action for GB as Junior Grand Prix heads to Ostrava

Lucy Hay and Kyle McLeod are set to make their Junior Grand Prix debut as the second competition of the 2022 series gets underway in Ostrava, Czech Republic tomorrow. They pair will be joined by Ice Dancers Phebe Bekker and James Hernandez.


Both sets of skaters come into the event off the back of impressive performances at the inaugural Britannia Figure Cup last week. Phebe and James topped the Junior Ice Dance with a score of 141.46, with Lucy and Kyle scoring 87.64 in the Junior Pairs.

The Ice Dance duo featured at two Junior Grand prix last year, coming 8th in Gdansk, Poland.


The Pairs Short Program takes place on Thursday 1st from 13:50, with the Ice Dance starting on Friday at 10:30.

Lucy and Kyle will return on Friday afternoon to perform their Free Skate from 13:30. The Ice Dance Free Dance then closes the event at 15:15 on Saturday.
