World bronze medallists Lilah Fear & Lewis Gibson kick off their 2025/26 ISU Grand Prix campaign this weekend at the Grand Prix de France in Angers (17–19 October) — their first Grand Prix of the season before heading to their second assignment next month.
The British ice dance champions are part of a world-class field at the third event of this season’s Grand Prix Series, with points on offer toward qualification for the ISU Grand Prix Final in December.

When they skate (UK time)
Rhythm Dance:Â Saturday 18 Oct, 12:00 (UK)
Free Dance: Sunday 19 Oct, 10:30 (UK) (Times from the ISU’s official schedule; subject to change.)
Momentum into the Olympic season
Fear & Gibson arrive in France following a landmark year for British ice dance. Their World Championship bronze medal in Boston marked Britain’s first in the discipline for nearly 40 years, and it came just months after another historic milestone — winning Great Britain’s first-ever medal at the ISU Grand Prix Final, taking bronze in Grenoble.
Now beginning the Olympic season as World No.1Â in the ISU world rankings, they return to France aiming to build on that historic momentum. A strong result in Angers would go a long way toward securing another place in the Grand Prix Final, reserved for the top six teams across the series.
British presence in France
British ISU-listed official Sundeep Pandya will serve as a judge at the Grand Prix de France, providing further BIS representation on the international stage and continuing Britain’s strong officiating presence across major ISU events.
Where to watch
The competition will be livestreamed on the ISU’s official YouTube channel in regions without broadcast restrictions.
