British Royals head to GdaƄsk as Short Track World Tour hits European leg

The ISU Short Track World Tour moves into its European leg this week, with the British Royals travelling to GdaƄsk, Poland for World Tour #3 (20–23 November) – the third of four Olympic qualifying events on the road to Milano Cortina 2026.

Following two high-intensity weekends in MontrĂ©al, the Tour now switches to Hala Olivia in GdaƄsk before concluding in Dordrecht, Netherlands, next week (World Tour #4, 27–30 November). These competitions form part of the ISU’s “Skate to Milano” campaign, with results feeding directly into the Olympic Qualification Classification that decides how many places each country earns for Milano Cortina 2026.

Why GdaƄsk matters for the British Royals

With two of four World Tour stages already completed, GdaƄsk marks a key turning point in the season. The World Tour rankings are based on each skater’s best three results per distance, and Olympic qualification also uses results from the Tour – meaning there is still everything to play for over the final two stages.
