We are delighted to launch the British Ice Skating Volunteer Awards 2025, a celebration of the incredible individuals who give their time, energy, and passion to support our sport from behind the scenes.

Volunteers are at the very heart of the ice skating community – from organising and facilitating events to keeping clubs running smoothly. These awards recognise the unsung heroes whose commitment makes it possible for skaters at all levels to thrive.
The Volunteer Awards shine a light on those who go above and beyond to make a difference – without expectation, but with immeasurable impact. Join us in celebrating the dedicated volunteers that keeps British Ice Skating moving forward.

If you know someone who deserves to be recognised for their volunteer work, you can submit a nomination for them now!
Winners will be selected from the nominations submitted, with finalists announced in October and winners announced at a Community Celebration event in November. For all awards except Officials' Official of the Year (where number of nominations will be a shortlisting factor), shortlisting will be based purely on the supporting statements and details provided, not on number of nominations a person receives.
Below you can find the full set of award categories and criteria for each category. To submit a nomination for the volunteer you think deserves to win an award, head to our online nomination form:
