Who needs to attend?
If you last attended a Coaching Convention in 2023 then your three-year cycle of CPD must be renewed by attending the convention in 2026.
If you have recently passed your Level 2 coaching qualification and have not yet attended a convention then you also must attend the 2026 Convention.
If you’re not due to attend the Convention this year but want to attend part of the event as an extra boost for your learning and development, a one-day booking option will also be made available. This option will not be suitable or available for coaches whose year it is to renew their Convention attendance.
Format:
At the 2026 Convention, different days will focus on specific areas:
Day 1 - Monday 13th: Singles and Pairs
Day 2 - Tuesday 14th: Mandatory and Generic Coaching Sessions
Day 3 - Wednesday 15th: Ice Dance and Synchro
Coaches will need to attend a minimum number of sessions (details to be confirmed at a later date) including a number of mandatory sessions held on Day 2, requiring attendance over at least two days (one of which must be Tuesday 14th). Coaches can choose whether they stay for the full three days or concentrate their learning over just two days.
