Then you NEED to be at our Ice Dance Progression camps this off season!
British Ice Skating’s Academy of Dance are excited to announce a series of off-season Ice Dance camps for all Solo and Couples Dancers who are basic novice and above. The camps will include on and off ice classes developed and led by top international coaches and professionals. There are limited places on each camp to ensure skaters are given the maximum amount of coach interaction and supervision. Skaters who display talent and excellence will have the opportunity to be invited back to attend an invitation only camp. The first camp for solo ice dancers will be on Friday the 31st of March at Ice Sheffield and English Institute of Sport, Coleridge Road, Sheffield, S9 5DA.  Skaters in attendance should arrive at 9:30 and be collected after 17:30. The camp includes 3 hours of on ice coaching, 2 hours of off-ice activities and an educational session. The fee to attend is £75. Skaters who are interested in coming along to the first camp can sign up now through Sport 80.
Please note, sign-up for this camp will close on the 17th of March.  Future Progression Camps will be held on the 24th of May, 26th of July and 27th of July for all Solo skaters, basic novice and above. Ice Dance couples will be invited to attend Academy of Dance Camps in the days after each of the solo dance dates as per dates below: 1st & 2nd April (2 day camp) Day 1: 10:30 – 20:30, Day 2 10:00 – 18:30 25th May & 26th May (2 day camp) 28th July - 30th July (3 day camp) Coaches are also encouraged to attend with their couples where possible. The closest hotel is the Premier Inn Sheffield Arena.
