Hone your skills, learn something new, and get ready for the season ahead.

British Ice Skating invites you to their upcoming two-day Adult Development Camp taking place at Ice Sheffield on 7th and 8th September 2025.
Open to skaters 18 or over who have completed their Skate Star Gold syllabus and are looking to take their ice skating to the next level. Attendees will be split into groups based on ability level to ensure their coaching is pitched at the right level and maximise the benefit of attending the camp.
Delivered by experienced British Ice Skating coaches and covering a range of on and off-ice sessions, this is a fantastic chance to hone your skills, learn something new, and get ready for the season ahead!
Including sessions focusing on competition simulation, program elements, jump technique, flexibility and conditioning, choreography and performance and more. This camp is suitable for both ice dance and singles figure skaters.

Kathryn Hudson OLY
Kathryn is a Level 4 International Pair Coach & Level 3 International Figure Coach with over 30 years of coaching experience having had skaters compete at Youth Olympics, Junior Worlds, Junior Grand Prix’s & European Championships. As a skater herself Kathryn was British Junior & Senior Pair Champion & represented Great Britain at many International events including Europeans, Worlds & Olympics. Kathryn was awarded the BITA Young Coach of the Year in 2005, has worked on T.V projects such as Dancing on Ice & The making of an Ice Princess as well as participating & leading on many camps both at home and abroad.

Keith Hudson
Keith is British Ice Skating Skate UK lead, Development Officer & Level 4 International Ice Dance Coach with over 30 years of coaching experience. Keith has worked on various TV projects such as Dancing on Ice, How to make your body better (Davina McCall) & Cadburys Heroes (YouTube) with Mark Wright & Zoe Hardman (Heart Radio) as well as participating & leading on camps for British Ice Skating and many others alongside Kathryn both at home & abroad.

Neil Chilcott
Neil is a Level 4 Ice Dance Coach with 30 years of coaching experience, during that time he has coached many British National Champions at Novice, Junior & Senior levels along with the Czech Republic National Champions. He has also coached European, World & Olympic competitors. He loves coaching all levels of ice skating particularly Ice Dance, Skills, Choreography & Basic skating.
