Times are tough right now, and with rinks shut it can be difficult to stay motivated but British Ice Skating is here to help you through it. We are going to be brining you brand new online sessions, weekly challenges, recipes to try out at home and regular reminders of why we all love our sport.
So together, we can get through these tough times and help you keep your skates on.

Keep your eyes peeled for our weekly challenge as we release fun, active challenges to help keep everyone moving. A new one will be revealed every week and we want you to share your best efforts with the skating community!
Can you believe that we have hosted nearly 200 online sessions since the start of the pandemic? We will be looking back at some of the best we have hosted, putting a weekly throwback on our YouTube channel so members can relive them. A link will be sent to all members so you can access some of the very best online sessions we've hosted.
There will also be a range of new sessions – for as long as needed BIS will keep putting on these industry leading zoom classes and discussions.
We’ve all got a little bit more time to spend at home, so why not test out your skills in the kitchen with our recipe of the week. Our tasty meal and snack recommendations will hopefully give you some new recipes to add to your favourites.
All members have access to the POWR tool through the exclusive Skate Perks portal. It offers bespoke meditation and breathing exercise to help you deal with any daily stressors as they arise. We will highlight some of the best benefits offered to make sure you can make the most of this brilliant well-being tool.
