British Ice Skating is pleased to announce the 2023 Coaches convention, taking place in Sheffield on the 24th to 26th of July 2023.
Timetable:
12-8pm on the 24th Mandatory sessions including two on ice sessions, EDI, Safeguarding and UKAD.
8am-8pm on the 25th Coaches will be required to attend a minimum of 8 sessions of their own choice, these sessions will include on Ice, Off ice active and educational sessions covering all aspects of our sport.
8am – 2pm in the 26th
Coaches will be required to attend a minimum of 6 sessions of their own choice.
The convention will conclude at 2pm on Wednesday the 26th.
Details of the party night will follow shortly, please note that this is no longer included in the cost of the convention.
Attending the 2023 Coaches convention will cost £300. Booking opens midday Wednesday 12th April via our Sport80 membership portal - the convention will be in the Courses section.
Skills Education Session
In addition to the Coaches' Convention, on Monday 24th July 9am-12pm BIS will be holding a skills education session; this session is mandatory for all coaches who have not completed the education on the Skills programme.
The session will cost £75 and can also be booked from midday on Wednesday 12th April via Sport80.
