ISU Communications Update
NISA would like to make members aware that ISU Communications 1503, 1504 & 1505 are now available to download from the ISU website. These communications contain information following ISU Congress in relation to changes to singles, pairs & synchro.

As from 1st April 2007 synchronized skating tests in the UK were removed – Approved by the NISA board 27 March 2007.

Criteria for competition for 2008-9 will be based on NISA tests as indicated on the UK Synchronized Skating Category Information 2008-9 document below.

This category information will be reviewed annually and if there are any updates they will be made in April of each year.
There will be further announcements re coach and judge education as and when this is arranged.

Coaches wishing to take teams abroad are asked to complete SyS 1 and 2 forms prior to their travel abroad and an SyS3 form reporting back on the event. Performance will only offer permission to take teams abroad in 2008-9 if coaches who have travelled with teams this seaon (2007-8) have fulfilled this requirement.

Coaches may submit SyS4 forms to the Synchro Technical Committee to arrange feed back sessions on their programme work during the season.
Coaches/Team Managers are asked to please ensure all new team names are registered with Judy or Noel. There is no cost this is to keep the UK team database up to date and to ensure we do not have duplication.
