Skaters Packs
Please note that all information, timetables etc. for this event will be put on the website and not posted to individuals. Any timetable changes and updates will be reflected in the Pre- Draw timetable which will be on the NISA website on Friday 3rd July. Skaters are requested to check this carefully and reminded that this will be the timetable effective from that time.
Accreditation will be in the Ice Rink, where passes can be collected for both skaters and coaches. Coaches will need to produce their licence badge before their pass will be issued. Please note that only one coach is accredited per single skater. See competitor list below for those accepted. No other person/coach will be allowed rink-side during the main Championship. Any additional people travelling with you must purchase tickets and can do so on arrival at iceSheffield or in advance by calling 0114 2565656.
Skaters are reminded that all music must be on either CD or Mini Disc and should be handed to the Music Stewards at Accreditation at the main draw for your event, or alternatively immediately upon your arrival at the rink. Discs should be clearly labelled with your name, event, the relevant part of the event, e.g. short/original/free etc. and the music length. Music will be retained during the Championship and can be collected from the NISA information desk after each segment of your event has been skated.
Skaters are reminded that they are not allowed to practice at any venue at any point following their initial draw.
Timetable
PRE-DRAW TIMETABLE IS NOW AVAILABLE, PLEASE CLICK THE LINK BELOW.
Practice groups will be worked out alphabetically. All practice sessions will be 45 minutes. There will be a 3 minute warm up without music, followed by a straight run through of tunes 1 to 5 of the music for the compulsory dance being skated. After this the time will be free for original and free dance practice. Background music will be played during this time but it will not be possible to play individual programme music.

Heather Green Innovative Trophy
Skaters are reminded that the Heather Green Trophy will be presented at the Championships. One skater will be chosen from all skaters in the Novice and Primary and one from Juniors, Intermediates and Seniors, male or female in the Solo Championship Free Dance Finals, not necessarily the winner of an event who, in the opinion of the Judges has performed the most Innovative Programme.
The programme will be creative and have shown a natural movement and an originality that is unique to their music alone.

The Compulsory Dances for the British Solo Ice Dance Championships 2009 were drawn on Saturday 16th May, at the Deeside Open Dance Competition, and are as follows:
Novice:- 14 Step
Primary:- European Waltz
Junior:- Silver Samba
Intermediate:- Starlight Waltz
Senior:- Argentine Tango
