An Ice Dancing Duo from the Region have been Taking a Break from Training to Coach a Special Workshop to Youngsters.

Owen Edwards, 22, from Gresford, Wrexham and Louise Walden, 25, from Preston have been at Deeside Ice Rink to teach former pupils and old friends a move or two.
The pair, who have been competing together for the last two years, have jetted in from France for the occasion.
Louise told the Leader: “We’ve been training in Lyon for almost a year now and needed to come back home for some seminars.
“We thought it was a prime opportunity to meet up with fellow skaters and ex-pupils and have a session. We have offered to run this workshop for free to give something back to the skaters, club and rink for all the support they have given us.
“It’s about 40 children of various abilities which is not an easy task. We taught some basic skating skills and me and Owen joined in too. “It’s really for enjoyment and pleasure and to have some fun. We are not in Deeside very often but this is the first of more planned trips back this year where we aim to help encourage and nurture future champions.”
The couple, who were bronze medalists in the 2009 senior British championships, are gearing up the skating season which begins in September.
The pair, who support Nightingale House Hospice, are also hoping to take part in the Winter Olympics 2014.
