NISA Confirms Date for the 2009-10 British Synchronized Skating Championships
Following discussions with our senior ISU synchronized officials, it has been agreed that the earlier date announced for the British Synchronized Championships should be moved to 18th/19th February 2010. The venue still remains the same namely iceSheffield and the whole competition will be run as IJS.
Unfortunately the earlier date clashed with the Prague Cup 2010 Senior, Junior, Novice and Finlandia Cup Senior, Junior, Novice. Many of our senior ISU officials will be officiating at these events and also a number of our British teams may also be competing. It therefore made imminent sense to move the date. The new date also falls within the half term school break and therefore our skaters will not be required to take time off school to compete in the championships.
