NISA Membership Registration

NISA Members can now log into the site via the log in box in the top right corner. You will need to apply for a username and password by the website administrators. Once you have received your logging in details you will be able to view information pertinent only to members.


Existing NISA members can obtain their login credentials by following the guide...

* 1) Click the ‘Membership Renewal’ button below and fill in your details – as if making a renewal payment.
* 2) Once all data has been inserted continue by clicking the ‘Next ->’ button.
* 3) Locate the heading ‘Life Member/Login Credentials’ – Read the information provided and click the highlighted link.
* 4) Once your submission has been authorised our system will send you unique credentials.

Note: No payment will be taken using this system – a membership must be valid and have substantial time remaining before expiry for credentials to be issued.


National Ice Skating Association
NISA is the UK Governing Body for ice-skating and has ultimate responsibility for everything that happens within our sport, from the very beginners at Skate UK level we ensure quality of tuition through to the very highest levels of skating. When you are ready to start taking tests to further enhance your ability you must become a member of NISA however, as a responsible individual it is always worthwhile joining NISA to ensure that you have the adequate insurance cover should for whatever reason you should be involved in an accident on the ice.

Membership Insurance

Civil Liability
All NISA members are provided with £5m free Civil Liability insurance cover. This insurance policy covers members when they are carrying out NISA authorised activities. These would typically include:
• Competing – Home or abroad
• Volunteering – At a NISA permitted/authorised event
• Representing NISA at an event – judging etc

Civil Liability does not cover accidents to the insured. It is a policy that covers the insured as an individual should they become involved in an accident and then find themselves subject to litigation – they would be covered under this policy.

Accident Cover
All NISA members between the ages of 3 and 75 are provided with free personal injury insurance. However, the cover on this policy is very limited and covers only major injury. The policy is not a Travel Insurance Policy and will not cover repatriation or localised hospitalisation. (see below for this cover)

Travel Insurance
NISA can make available to NISA members , travel insurance cover which would cover members who are participating in overseas competitions and who may need treatment and or repatriation. The cost of cover is £18 per trip and to take up this insurance, members should contact Julia McMurray at the NISA office. Cover will not be made available on a retrospective basis and premium must be paid in full before departure to the overseas competition.
