NISA Board Announces Team for 2009 ISU World Championships

TEAM GB SQUAD SELECTION - WORLDS

As you will be aware, at the Board meeting held yesterday the Board Directors discussed, in great detail, who would be selected as members of Team GB to attend the World Figure Skating Championships in Los Angeles.

The Directors took into consideration a wide range of reports from our ISU Championship Judges and officials and also reviewed current National rankings, technical ability and also had to take into consideration that this years World Championships will be used as a qualifier for the 2010 Winter Olympic Games. The Team GB squad will be as follows:

Ladies – Jenna McCorkell

- Reserve Karly Robertson

Men - Matthew Parr

- 1st reserve Elliot Hilton

- 2nd Reserve David Richardson

Pairs - Stacey Kemp and David King

- Reserve Erica Risseeuw and Robert Paxton

Dance - Sinead and John Kerr

- Philippa Towler Green and Philip Poole

- 1st reserve Christina Chitwood and Mark Hanretty

- 2nd reserve Louise Walden and Owen Edwards
