NEW MEMBER OF STAFF FOR NISA
NISA is pleased to announce the arrival of a new member to our Administration Team. This now completes the full complement of NISA staff, something we have been unable to claim for over 12 months. As members you will be aware, Cath Barker left on sick leave ahead of her maternity leave at the end of 2007 and until his departure last month, David Wood had also been on long spells of long term sick leave. With a 30% reduction at times in our staff resources we had all be working very hard to deliver services on behalf of members.
However, with a full complement of staff, we can now move forward with confidence into 2008/09 to not only deliver standard services to members but also develop a number of the new initiatives we have wanted to launch over the past twelve months.
SUE MARSHALL joins NISA as part time senior administrator. Sue’s working hours will be 8.30 am – 5.30pm Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.
For the last four years, Sue has worked for the Student Support Group as a Customer Care Officer dealing with a wide range of customers including students and parents. Prior to that Sue was with Vision Express as a senior administrator following 15 years with the Boots Company working in various roles within their Head Office here in Nottingham. During her spare time Sue enjoys swimming and scuba diving, delivering as an instructor aerobics and aqua aerobics sessions and also delivering karate lessons.
As a Senior Administrator in the office Sue will be responsible for:
• Co-ordination of the Junior Grand Prix paperwork, both pre and post event
• Maintenance of the Judges and Officials Database
• Development and maintenance of the Judges and Officials section of the NISA website in conjunction with Ice Media Productions
• Organisation of IJS, Field Moves seminars
• Allocation of Judges to events
• Issue of permits for events/shows/exhibitions
Membership and test database
• Inputting of test results - weekly
• Holiday relief cover for tests and membership
• Support of the despatch of merchandise, during busy periods
• Maintenance of the membership area of the NISA website in conjunction with Ice Media Productions
Events Administration
