We are delighted to share with all coaches that through the development of the Coaches Convention and the imminent arrival of a new database, for 2019 relicensing purposes we will be able to accept certification in First Aid and Child Protection / Safeguarding, as well as DBS / PVG full disclosure checks, valid at least until 1st July 2019.
Certificates for First Aid and Child Protection / Safeguarding obtained since the relicensing period in 2018 must be sent to firstname.lastname@example.org in support of your application.
*ALL NEW DBS/PVG SUBMISSIONS MUST NAME NISA AS THE 'EMPLOYER' (FOR DBS) OR BE MADE THROUGH CHILDSAFE (FOR PVG)*

Any Coach still skating competitively needs to complete the Annual Eligibility Forms found here. The Eligibility 4 form is unique to coaches.
Though NISA has re-branded as British Ice Skating, the registered company name remains the same, and therefore any paperwork / licence cards with 'NISA' name and imagery remain valid.

Coaches, it’s coming to that time of year again… coach licence renewals.
As you are all aware, your licences have to be renewed on the 1st March every year. To relicense you are required to have a current DBS (or PVG for those in Scotland), valid First Aid and Child Protection certificates, and have attended the Coaching Conference within the past 3 years.
The prices for membership, licence fee and insurance will stay the same as last year. However, we have been able to increase the insurance rate from £5m to 10m at no extra cost to you. This will give you far greater cover and peace of mind.

We are introducing some changes this year so please read through the letter carefully as well as the key highlights below.
