It probably hasn't escaped the attention of many of you that there are some new faces (or names, or voices, depending on your method of contact) in the NISA office.
After many years of sterling service, Lynda Young and Lisa Burnell have moved on to pastures new, and we have been busy building a new team whose primary function is to serve you, the membership. So without further ado, these are the introductions:
Louise Meadows, Finance Officer, has been at NISA since October 2014. Louise found her niche when studying Accountancy and has enjoyed working in various Finance roles since then.
Patsy Marray, PA to Jackie Sheldon CEO, started at NISA in February 2017. Patsy brings a wealth of PA experience from the professional services sector and is the first point of contact for Jackie.
Kirstie Robinson, Events Coordinator, officially joined NISA in May 2015. However, Kirstie has been around Ice Skating for much, much longer than that, and has extensive technical and procedural knowledge.
Liz Morley, Permits and SkateUK Administrator (part-time), has been at NISA since November 2015. Prior to joining NISA Liz spent four years as the Chief Executive of a non-league football club. Sport has featured consistently throughout her career and she has worked on projects within many different organisations, from community-led sports schemes to commercial businesses, working with the likes of Silverstone Race Track, F1 and Honda Motorbikes.
Jessica Davidson, Coaching Administrator, started at NISA in August 2016. Jess previously worked in Digital Marketing in London, and looked after Test & Membership prior to taking the lead on Coaching.
Jennifer Lodge, Test & Membership and Development Administrator, joined NISA in April 2017. Jen recently also moved to Nottingham from London, where she worked in Teaching.
Olivia Evans, Test & Membership and Performance Administrator, also started in April 2017. Olivia is Nottingham born-and-bred and has great experience in Customer Service.
Bethany Bishop, Marketing & PR Officer, is our newest recruit, joining NISA in May 2017. Beth comes from a sports-role background, having spent three years with NGB British Taekwondo. There she played a part in forging the Rio 2016 Olympic campaign which saw success for Gold Medallist Jade Jones, Silver medallist Lutalo Muhammad and Bronze medallist Bianca Walkden.
Martin Hunt, Operations Manager, started at NISA in February 2017. Martin comes from a hospitality management background, is a sports nut, and likes disappearing into the countryside for long runs at the weekend. Co-incidentally, he also moved to Nottingham from London, though that was quite some time ago.
As a Team we are committed to offering a quality service to our members.
Direct contact details can be found on the Contact NISA page. In accordance with NISA's ongoing committment to the sport of Ice Skating as a whole, as seen in the 10-year Strategy, we look forward to helping you "Skate for fun, Skate for Gold, Skate for Life"!
