No entry to Pairs
In accordance with ISU Communication 1946 the Technical Element Score must have been reached in an ISU International Competition during the current of immediately preceding season in both Short Program and Free Skating.
The ISU Council have decided that the Minimum Technical Element Score must be reached 21 days before the first day (i.e. first official practise day) of the Championships concerned. In this case, the first day of official practises is the 28th March 2016 and therefore in order to qualify to compete in the ISU World FS Championships 2016, the Minimum Technical Element Score needs to be achieved by the 7th March 2016
With this in mind, any skaters from the Ladies discipline who are able to achieve the required Technical Element score before the deadline (as above) will be considered for selection to represent GB at the ISU World Championship 2016. If more than one skater achieves the required score during this period, the highest scoring Lady (based on twice the score achieved at the British Championship + highest score achieved at an ISU International competition) will be selected.
In the case of the Dance discipline, if a couple achieve the required Technical Element Score at an ISU International Competition before the deadline (as above), they will be considered as the Reserve entry for the ISU World Championship 2016. If more than one couple achieves the required score, the highest scoring couple (based on twice the score achieved at the British Championship + highest score achieved at an ISU International competition) will be selected as 1st reserve.
