Seven NISA Skaters Head to Luxembourg for the Coupe de Printemps

This week, seven British skaters arrive in Luxembourg for the Coupe de Printemps 2016 figure skating competition.

The event, which will see skaters compete from Basic Novice through to Senior categories, takes place over three days from Friday 11th to Sunday 13th March.

Among those skating for Great Britain will be senior Phillip Harris from Coventry. The double British Champion has had a strong season to date, starting things off with a Short Programme personal best in the Nebelhorn Trophy in September and going on to a European best at the European Championships in January.

Skating in the competition alongside Harris will be Junior Ladies Lana Bagen, Bethan Whiteman, and Lowri Jones, as well as Basic Novice A Ladies Cara McCabe, Chloe Dempsie and Rebecca Gray-Gardner.

Best of luck to all skaters taking part. You can follow their performance and results on the official event website. To show your support and wish them luck, tweet using the event hashtag  #CDP16.

Stay tuned for the post-event results on the NISA website, Facebook and Twitter.
