Last weekend Senior British Ice Dance Champions Lilah Fear and Lewis Gibson made their way to Scotland to attend two special events held by the QTS Group.
The two skating talents have joined the QTS Youth Athletes Programme, and were invited to Scotland last weekend (4th of May 2017) by their new sponsors.
First the pair attended a media and filming session where they were interviewed by various media outlets and filmed promotional videos with QTS.
Part of the QTS Young Athlete's initiative is to inspire and 'support young emerging sports stars'. Lilah and Lewis also took part in a skating skills masterclass with young skaters from Gain The Edge at the Ayr Ice Rink.
Lilah and Lewis said they were "honoured and delighted" to be a part of the QTS Youth Athletes Programme, adding that they "thouroughly enjoyed the chance to work with young people and give back to the skating community in Scotland."
For Lewis it was a trip back to his roots, as he grew up skating in Scotland at the Magnum Figure Skating Club.
Young and talented skaters like Lilah and Lewis have a big part to play in inspiring others to take up the sport, and they very much hope to go back for a second visit soon.
