NISA skaters to take to the ice in Hungary for the 11th Avas Cup

From 31st March to April 2nd, 10 NISA skaters will be competing in Hungary in the 11th Avas Cup. The event will see skaters compete in categories Basic Novice through to Senior.

The ladies representing Great Britain in the 11th Avas Cup will be Frances Howell and Rowena Mackessack-Leitch in Senior Ladies, Lydia Smart in Junior Ladies, Shelby Simmers, Maeve Hastings and Genevieve Somerville in Advanced Novice Ladies, and Amy Morris and Jasmine Cressey in Basic Novice A.

Joining them will be male skaters Greig Smith in Advanced Novice Men and Daniel Weston in Basic Novice Men.

Both Morris and Weston achieved a gold medal finish in their disciplines at the 2015 British Championships in December, whilst Mackessack-Leitch, Hastings and Somerville all placed in the top 10 for their category.
