Today (Thursday) sees the first day of competition at the Ljubljana Cup in Slovenia where Junior category figure skaters will showcase their talents on the ice. Four skaters will be representing Great Britain in the Junior Men’s, Junior Ladies and Junior Ice Dance categories
Josh Brown will be competing in the Junior Men category, and will be looking to build on his performance from the British Championships last season where he finished in first place overall.
During August, Anna Litvinenko was placed second in the Senior Ladies category at IJS Sheffield. This week she will be competing in the Junior Ladies category and also hoping to maintain that form.
Finally, Ice Dance couple Leticia Marsh and Anton Spiridonov, who placed first at IJS Sheffield, will be competing later in the week.
The Ljubljana Cup takes place from 21st to 24th September and is the fifth competition in the ISU Junior Grand Prix of Figure Skating. There are seven events altogether, after which the ISU Junior Grand Prix Final will take place at the end of the year, in Marseille, France
