First international competition for Chris Boyadji and Zoe Wilkinson and top ten finishes for three GB skaters

Last week saw a debut international competition for newly formed pair Chris Boyadji and Zoe Wilkinson (pictured). They joined a strong British line-up to take part in the Challenger Series event in Bratislava, Slovakia.

The partnership’s international debut saw them finish 6th in the Ondrej Nepela Memorial, scoring a total of 129.30 points in the Pairs category.

Also competing in Bratislava between the 29th September and 1st October was British National Champion, Phillip Harris. Phillip continued his strong start to the season with a top ten finish in the Senior Men’s category, scoring 189.66 points, placing him in 8th. Also performing in the Men’s category was Charlie Parry-Evans who finished in 13th place, scoring 150.68.

In the Senior Ladies category, Nina Povey scored a total of 116.37 points, which placed her in 19th position overall.

At the same time across the Atlantic, Harry Mattick and Jamie Wright were competing in the 2016 Autumn Classic International. Both skaters achieved a top ten position, with Harry finishing in 9th scoring 169.33 and Jamie finishing in 10th with 163.65 points. Full results from the Autumn Classic can be found here.
