Chris Boyadji and new partner Zoe Wilkinson lead challenge in Bratislava

This week sees a return to action for Chris Boyadji and his new partner Zoe Wilkinson (pictured). The pair will take to the ice for their first international competition together, as they join a strong GB team for the Challenger Series event in Bratislava.

The newly formed partnership debuted on the ice at IJS Sheffield in August and they are looking forward to their first international event at the 24th Ondrej Nepela Memorial in Slovakia. They will be joined by British National Champion - Phillip Harris, who enjoyed a strong start to the season in Sheffield in August finishing first with an overall score of 203.92. Joining Harris in the Senior Men's will be Charlie Parry-Evans who achieved a top ten finish at the same competition last season.

Also competing in Bratislava between Thursday 29th September and Saturday 1st October will be Kristen Spours and Nina Povey in the Senior Ladies category. Meanwhile in Montreal over the same dates, the 2016 Autumn Classic International, another Challenger Series event, sees GB's Harry Mattick and Jamie Wright competing in the Senior Men's category.

We wish the best of luck to all eight GB skaters competing this coming week. Stay tuned for updates throughout the competition on the NISA website, on Facebook: ‘National Ice Skating Association’ and on Twitter: @NISA_iceskating.
