A Weekend of Success for NISA Skaters at the 25th Triglav Trophy and Narcisa Cup

Last week 11 NISA skaters represented Great Britain in Slovenia in the 25th Triglav Trophy and Narcisa Cup, with several achieving a top 10 score.

Josh Brown and Ruaridh Fisher were the skaters representing Great Britain in Junior Men and both finished victoriously in the top three. Brown placed second behind the USA with a score of 138.85, with Fisher following him in third place with a score of 133.17.

Elsewhere in the competition saw Charlie Parry-Evans place 3rd in Senior Men with an overall score of 162.56, with fellow skater Hugh Brabyn-Jones placing 8th in the category.

For the ladies, Zoe Wilkinson achieved an overall 4th place in Senior Ladies, and Rebecca Gillespie finished in 8th her performance in the Junior Ladies. The remaining Junior Ladies, Suzi Murray, Kloe Rozgonyi and Morgan Swales all placed within the top 20.

In the 3rd Narcisa Cup both skaters representing Great Britain finished in the top three. In Basic Novice A, Lucy Gardiner placed a close 3rd behind Italy with an overall score of 31.55. In Basic Novice B, Sophie Bain finished in 2nd place overall behind Slovenia with an overall score of 31.39.

It was on the whole been a great weekend for our NISA skaters and we would like to congratulate all those involved in both events.
