This weekend over 80 competitors from eight speed skating clubs across the UK will descend on the National Ice Centre, Nottingham for the annual British Short Track Championships.
Taking place from Saturday 2 to Sunday 3 January, the two day competition will include various ages from categories Pee Wee through to Masters, with the youngest skater aged nine and the oldest skater aged 66. Among these skaters will be the GB Short Track squad representing their own speed skating club.
The annual competition, now in its 5th year at the National Ice Centre, will be the first competition of 2016. The event will be a great warm up for the GB squad ahead of the international short track speed skating event, Star Class 2016, the following weekend.
All the latest results from the British Short Track Championships will be available online.
