Practices
Due to a high number of entries and limited availability of ice time on certain days in Deeside, practice sessions could not be accommodated at times most suitable to skaters. The decision has been made to still offer practice ice to all skaters and all disciplines, although it is acknowledged that the times are not ideal.
Practice sessions will therefore be skated in ALPHABETICAL order, and draws for order of skating will usually be after the official practice sessions. This will ensure that any skaters not able to be present at the official practice can continue to skate in another rink until the time of the draw.
As per previous announcements, it will unfortunately be necessary to limit the free skating in Novice Ladies and Junior Ladies to the top 18 skaters after the short programme. Any skater within 10% of the pass mark will also be given opportunity to skate the free programme.
