Job Description
To provide the efficient management of the NISA Accounts Department
• Manage and maintain sales, nominal and purchase ledger, credit and stock control systems.
• Undertake banking, including daybooks, reconciliation, reports and monthly trial balance.
• Process orders, invoices and credit notes; prepare payments by transfer, cheque, auto-payments.
• Produce end of year and monthly management reports for the Board and Finance Committee.
• Provide financial advice and information to the General Secretary and other NISA Board members.
• Liaise regularly with the Association’s Auditors.
• Prepare the budgets and financial information for the strategic plan.
• To be responsible for VAT, payroll, PAYE, NIC.
• Manage the Company Secretary’s records, NISA insurance policies and supplier’s contracts.
