Open Selection Meeting 2014

We are pleased to announce that the Open Selection Meeting 2014 (formerly known as Open Trials) will be held on Saturday 20th and Sunday 21st September 2014 at the National Ice Centre, Nottingham.

All Club Secretaries are requested to forward entries and payment for their Club members to Michelle Neville to be received no later than Friday 5th September 2014.

Entries are as per the Selection Criteria (see below)
ē Anyone can be entered into the Open Selection Meeting providing they are NISA registered Athletes, eligible to compete in International competitions for GBR and who have attained the necessary entry level Medal Test Standard;
ē Anyone taking part in the Open Selection Meeting will have to have achieved at least the Bronze World Class Medal Test time in their respective age category and be of Junior C age category or above.

The report time on the 20th September will be 11.15hrs at the latest. Warm-ups will commence at 12.15hrs. We have the ice from 12.00hrs Ė

UK Sport funding announcement provides gateway to PyeongChang 2018 for GB Short Track

The GB Short Track team are now looking forward to PyeongChang 2018 following the news that the sport has been awarded £4.35million in funding over the next four year cycle.

Christie makes comeback with World Silver in Montreal

If any skater has a question regarding any of their times on these documents in order for a time to be changed they will need to submit an official protocol containing the time in question to Michelle Neville.
