Aldwych Coach to run London Marathon for Sports Aid
2nd April 2014

"In April of this year, I will be running the London Marathon, my first ever marathon and something I have always hoped to do since the age of about 10!!

I am raising money for SportsAid, a charity that gives financial support to Britain's top Junior athletes hoping to one day qualify for the Olympics (both Summer and Winter). Previous recipients of their funding include: many Olympic gold medallists at London 2012, 4 of the current GB Short Track Team who raced in Sochi, many Club Members past and present including MYSELF (many moons ago now!!)

SportsAid is funded by donors and fundraisers and therefore this is our chance to give towards helping the future of British sport including people we know! So please please please donate anything you feel able to by clicking on my fundraising page: http://uk.virginmoneygiving.com/GerardWilliams and support me in my attempts to run a marathon and read up further information on SportsAid and my training.

Thank you all for your
