Conflicts of Interest
There have been occasions, previously considered acceptable, where people who are related have worked on the same event but on different officiating panels, ie Technical Panel and Judging Panel.
Following adverse comments by participating members on the perception of this, the matter was discussed at the May Board and it was agreed that this may not happen again in the future. This policy will commence for all new applications for permits but not affect those already permitted or in the Permit Process.
Policy Manual
The updated judges and officials policy manual will be issued shortly and all Judges and Officials will be required to sign an updated Self Declaration form, signing up to the NISA Policies. It will be sent out electronically with several separate attachments for ease of printing those sections that may be needed in hard copy. It will also be available for download on the website. Please note that all NISA technical panel officials will be required to attend a seminar that will incorporate a practical assessment and written exam in order to re certify. This will then be required once every three years. If any official has re certified through the ISU then

Judges & Officials who have any expenses be aware that the financial year end is fast approaching (30th September). All claims should be submitted to the NISA office without delay. Any claims for the 2009/10 year received after 15th October 2010 may not be accepted.
