NISATV is a perfectly stable service that operates in a very reliable fashion. Problems have occurred where people are registered with certain service providers. These providers fail to deliver at certain times of day the full bandwidth they advertise - they share the bandwidth out amongst there customers. Therefore some people experience delivery problems in the morning, around midday, and for the first two hours in the evening. Our advice is to get your service provider to state the amount of bandwidth they allocate to you and whether that bandwidth can be guaranteed at all times.

British Ice Skating Championships – Sheffield, 23rd – 28th November 2009

The closing date for the British Championships has now passed and NISA is very pleased to announce that we have the highest level of competitors for a great number of years (100). As members of the skating family will know interest in this year’s British Championships is extremely high . The event will also see the selection of the second placed dance couple to represent Great Britain at the 2010 Vancouver Winter Olympic Games.

Competition is intensely fierce at the present time amongst our senior dancers for this second place with five couples all with a chance of securing the second quota place.
NISA is confident that all our senior skaters will be able to perform in front of a capacity crowd at iceSheffield on Saturday 28th November.

NISA is also very pleased to announce that for the Senior Ice Dance Championships we will have the most experienced group of Judges and Technical Panel Officials that have ever collectively officiated in the UK.

There will be three ISU Technical Panel Officials and seven I SU Judges plus a referee. Within this number we will be welcoming four ISU Officials from other Federations from across Europe.

In addition to British skaters, we will also this see year a number of guest skaters from Poland, Estonia and Georgia. These skaters all recognise the quality of skating which now takes place in Great Britain and some are also using the event as part of their build up towards the 2010 Olympics. NISA is rapidly regaining its presence on the International ice skating stage. The 2009-10 season will see more skaters than ever before in the history of NISA, skating in International competitions. We will also see Performance skaters in the medal zones at a large number of ISU competitions and in the top ten in various figure skating disciplines at all ISU Championships.

NISA looks forward to welcoming record audiences to this years British Championships.

Anyone wishing to attend should book tickets early to avoid disappointment.
