I've been skating since I was about 15 months old. My dad was British Men's Champion, so I was at the rink from day one. I don't really remember it, but I was three when I took part in my first competition. I came third and my brother, Jack, came first. I guess I just got the skating bug!
I was born in the United States but have dual nationality. I always wanted to skate for Great Britain just like my dad, but never thought I would get that good (I think I'm better than he was now). Because my skating has been going so well and most of my events have been in Europe, which was costing my parents a small fortune, we recently moved to London to skate and for my dad to teach at Lee Valley. We really like it there. Everyone there is very nice, and the manager, Alan Seabrook, has been great. If you want to see me train I'm on elite patch every week day at 11am taking lessons from my dad, who I think is the best coach in the world, especially on jumps.
